Custom software development for businesses that have outgrown generic tools

We design and build custom software around your existing processes — phased delivery, source code ownership, no per-seat licensing forever.

The problem

Off-the-shelf software runs the parts of your business that look like everyone else's. It struggles with the parts that don't — the pricing logic only your team understands, the approval chain that exists because of one bad experience three years ago, the mix of service and product that no vertical SaaS tool was built to handle. You buy the closest match, spend months customizing it as far as its settings allow, and still end up bolting on spreadsheets to cover the gap. Every new hire has to learn not just the software but the workarounds around the software. Support tickets to the vendor come back with "that's not how the platform works." Meanwhile the subscription bill keeps climbing every time you add a user, whether or not that user needed the full feature set you're paying for. The real cost rarely shows up as a single number — it shows up as staff time spent reconciling two systems that were never designed to agree, and as decisions made on data nobody fully trusts because it passed through three manual exports to get there.

What we build

We build software around your actual workflow instead of asking you to adapt to someone else's. That starts with a short discovery phase — not a workshop that produces a slide deck, but concrete decisions about what the first working version needs to do and what can wait. We build on Next.js with a PostgreSQL database, deploy on Vercel, and ship in phases so you have something real to test within weeks, not months. Each phase ends with working software running on your actual data, reviewed by the people who will use it daily, before we move to the next one. Roles and permissions are built in from the start, so the warehouse lead sees a different screen than the finance controller. Existing data — spreadsheets, CSV exports, a legacy database — gets migrated in rather than left behind. At handover you receive the full source code repository and infrastructure access. Nothing is licensed back to you, and nothing requires our involvement to keep running. We also stay reachable after launch, on an hourly or retainer basis, for the inevitable changes that come once real usage reveals what the spec missed.

What you get

Stack

Timeline

Discovery and scoping: 1 to 2 weeks. First working release: 5 to 8 weeks depending on scope. Pilot period with real data and fixes: 2 to 3 weeks before full rollout.

Indicative cost

From roughly €6,000 for a single-workflow MVP up to €25,000+ for a multi-department system with ERP or third-party integrations. We quote a fixed price per phase once discovery is complete, so you know the number before committing.

Frequently asked questions

Why build custom instead of buying a SaaS product?

Buying makes sense when your process is standard. It stops making sense the moment your business has something that sets it apart — a costing model, an approval flow, a mix of offerings — that the SaaS tool forces you to abandon. Custom costs more upfront and less over time, because you stop paying per-seat fees indefinitely.

How long before we see something working?

The first phase is scoped specifically to produce a usable release within five to eight weeks, not a finished product but something your team can run real transactions through. Later phases build on that foundation rather than starting over.

What happens to our data during the switch?

We migrate existing records — from Excel, CSVs, or an old system's export — into the new database as part of the build, so you are not starting from an empty system on day one. We validate the migration against your originals before go-live.

Do you charge per user?

No. You pay for the build and, if you want it, ongoing support. Adding staff to the system afterward costs nothing extra, which is one of the main financial arguments for going custom once you're past a certain headcount.

Who owns the code once the project ends?

You do, in full. We hand over the repository, the database, and infrastructure credentials at project close. If you want to bring in another team later, you can — there is no technical lock-in on our side.
