Every SaaS automation platform solves this with per-task or per-run pricing that looks cheap in a demo and turns expensive fast once your actual volume hits it — a workflow that processes a few thousand records a month can quietly become one of your larger software line items. Worse, the workflows themselves live inside the vendor's platform: if you ever want to move providers, audit exactly what a workflow does, or self-host for cost or compliance reasons, you're often locked into whatever the platform allows, which frequently means starting over. Meanwhile the actual problem — your order system, your accounting software and your CRM not sharing data automatically — remains unsolved by simply picking a more expensive automation vendor. You need the automation, not necessarily the subscription that comes bundled with it.
What we build
We build your automations in n8n, an open-source workflow platform, hosted on infrastructure you control — a VPS we set up and hand over, or one you already run. That removes per-task pricing entirely: you pay for the server, not for every workflow execution, so cost stays flat even as volume grows. Because n8n is open source, there's no vendor lock-in — you can see exactly what every workflow does, export it, move it, or hand it to a different team without asking anyone's permission. We connect your existing systems — CRM, accounting, order management, email — through their APIs where available, or through a scheduled workaround where they aren't. We start with the highest-value workflow, usually the one consuming the most manual staff time, get it stable in production, then add the next. Documentation covers what each workflow does and how to adjust it, so you're not dependent on us for every future tweak, though we remain available on retainer for anyone who prefers not to touch it themselves.

Why self-hosted instead of the n8n cloud plan or another SaaS automation tool?
Self-hosting removes the per-execution and per-workflow pricing tiers that scale with usage, and it means you fully own the infrastructure and data — nothing sits behind a vendor account you don't control.
Do we need technical staff to manage a self-hosted server?
Not for day-to-day operation. We set up and document the instance, and offer an optional monthly retainer for monitoring and updates if you'd rather not manage server maintenance yourselves.
What if we already use a different automation tool?
We can typically migrate existing workflows or rebuild the highest-value ones in n8n, starting with whichever save the most time, rather than requiring a full one-time cutover.
Is n8n reliable enough for business-critical processes?
Yes — it's a mature open-source platform used widely in production, including for our own internal automations. Reliability comes from good workflow design and monitoring, which we build in from the start.
What happens if the server hosting n8n goes down?
We set up monitoring and alerts as part of the build, and can configure automatic restarts and backups so a server hiccup means a brief interruption, not lost workflow history or configuration.
Can you migrate workflows we already built in Zapier or Make?
In most cases yes — the underlying logic (triggers, actions, conditions) carries across conceptually, even if the exact implementation differs, so we rebuild the equivalent workflow in n8n rather than starting the thinking from zero.
